In a survey of nearly 7000 men and women of the Leather Community, the group proved to be:

  • more urban

  • better educated

  • from more affluent backgrounds

  • higher achieving

  • more satisfied with their lives and careers

  • more likely to vote

when compared with both the community at large and the Gay and Lesbian Community.
